Advice and analysis to help users manage their money and reach their financial goals

Helping form healthier money habits.

For customers unable to invest or buy their first home with OpenMoney due to poor financial health, the money management app was designed to help them reach these goals by offering advice and spending analysis to help form healthier money habits. Placing them in a stronger financial position to reach their goals and use our offerings. As lead product designer, I collaborated with the founder, product owner, and tech team to deliver the app from the ground up.

With an outdated codebase and design system, the app was redesigned, ironing out any friction points. The old app, didn’t link up with OpenMoneys offerings very well. The new app ensured customers would go in full circle to appreciate the OM offering.

Discovery and refinement

During the early stages of the project, I was responsible for capturing requirements in discovery sessions and generating user flows and low-fi wireframes to be refined with the product and development teams. Once the wireframes were refined and the criteria were met, I created an app design system to fabricate high fidelity prototypes to be tested.

Prototyping and user testing

Once customer journeys were prototyped I would help create the tests on Usertesting.com with our UX researcher, and improve designs based off user feedback.
